1. Who is the Happiness at Work Program for?
This program is suitable for people of all ages, roles and industries.
It is designed for people who want to develop the habit of recognising positive moments in their workday and build a more positive and constructive outlook at work.
People do not need to be unhappy to benefit. The program focuses on short, structured reflections that help people notice positive moments in their everyday life.
If someone is currently dealing with significant personal challenges such as illness or serious financial stress, professional or specialist support outside the program may also be appropriate.
2. Is this program only for workplaces with wellbeing problems?
No. It’s not designed as a fix for struggling teams. The program works well across a wide range of workplaces, including high-performing teams, growing organisations and hybrid environments.
3. Should the whole office do this together?
Participation should be optional.
The program works best when people choose to take part and are willing to put in the daily effort.
4. How much time does the program take?
Around 10-15 minutes per day.
Each day, participants complete a single reflection guided by a simple question, ideally at the start of the workday to help set a constructive tone for the day.
5. What is required from participants?
Consistent participation and a willingness to reflect.
6. Why are the reflections handwritten, not typed?
Writing by hand has been shown to improve recall, emotional processing and learning, helping reinforce the impact of the reflections.

8. What support does the business need to provide?
Encouragement from leaders and protection of the small daily time commitment.
We recommend creating a Slack or Teams channel for prompts, reflections and encouragement, sharing supportive messages from leaders, and optionally appointing Happiness Ambassadors to help maintain momentum.
The tone should stay informal and encouraging rather than forced or overly corporate.
9. Do you provide internal communications support?
Yes. We provide a rollout communications plan that includes pre-program, during-program and post-program messaging that you can copy, paste and tailor.
If additional support is needed, it will be scoped separately.
10. How is the program delivered?
Participants receive a six-week workbook with 30 short guided reflections, each centred around a simple daily question.
They also receive a card-format version of the program, making it easy to revisit the questions and continue the practice after the formal program is complete.
11. What happens after the program ends?
In the final week, participants create an ongoing happiness plan using a guided reflection format, helping them identify how they will continue noticing positive moments in their day after the program ends.
To help maintain momentum, organisations can support participants by keeping a Slack or Teams channel active, rotating Happiness Ambassadors and/or revisiting the questions using the card format.
